Our Beginnings

Randy’s Nursery was founded in 1987 by Randy Thompson, a lifelong gardening enthusiast with a talent for helping plants thrive. Randy converted his two-acre Lawrenceville property into a nursery, greenhouse, and garden center, allowing him to share his horticultural passion.

Over the past 35 years, Randy’s Nursery has grown into a premier destination for Atlanta-area gardeners. As Randy prepares for retirement, his daughter Emma and son-in-law John now manage day-to-day operations. They lead a talented team of horticultural experts to serve our community.

This place is bigger than it looks. So many different hydrangea plants. They have a whole green room for succulents! I wandered for over an hour. The staff was very nice and super helpful but they left me browse happily until I needed them. I ended up bringing home more than I expected and I look forward to returning.
